Brian McDermott is a former premier league manager who both played and managed at the highest level of English football who has never lost his strong connection with Co Clare. He joined Arsenal as an apprentice in January 1977 and signed professional forms with the club in February 1979. The Fever Pitch team interviewed him while on their recent trip to the European Parliament to discuss his long career and love of the Banner county.
