SBCR were delighted to welcome 7 of the 9 candidates contesting the local Elections for the Killaloe Municipal District where each candidate was given the opportunity to put forward their reasons why you should give them your vote of preference.
Questions for the candidates were sent in by local groups and community associations from our Broadcast Coverage area. The programme is introduced by our Station Manager Jim Collins and moderated by David Fleming. We thank all candidates who attended and participated. Remember voting takes place on Friday 7th of June and SBCR will be LIVE at the Count in Ennis on the 8th June to bring you all the news and results. This programme was recorded live on Poetry Day Ireland Thursday April 25th in the Snug Pizzeria, Mountshannon and features Madge O’Callaghan, Patricia Moriarty reading the poems of Tif Eccles, Michael Durack and Gill Moses. Open mic poets were Nicki Griffin, Patricia Donnellan, Ruth Marshall and Róisín Bugler. Music was played by Lucy Thomas on clarinet.

We currently broadcast in East Clare live every Saturday and Sunday on 88.3 and 92.7FM and worldwide on the tune in and radio garden app as well as from our website www.scariffbayradio.com All our shows are repeated online from Monday to Friday.
